Our Holistic Approach

My NYC Doula offers exceptional support for mothers-to-be in New York City. Our founder is a DONA International full spectrum Doula Sounji Henriques. She is also a Lamaze trained birth educator and  prenatal yoga teacher, dedicated to providing personalized assistance in Labor and Delivery, birth education, postpartum care, and breastfeeding support.

Emphasizing a holistic faith based methodology, we leverage techniques like counter pressure and mindful breathing to foster a profound mind-body connection for an empowered birthing experience. Creating a community of doulas and a community for birthing families is also vital to our mission.
